Commonwealth Soap has invested in the newest technology for Soap Base development. We utilize the Binacchi MPSD (Multi-Purpose Saponification & Spray Drying) – our cutting-edge, patented technology for soap production.
In 2012, CST was the first US company to install a fully computerized, continuous saponification system capable of producing 50 million tons of various types of soap base annually. From tallow based to vegetable, from sustainable to organic to custom blends, we are ready to meet our customers’ needs.
Our computer controlled system uses only 20% of the energy the older kettle process uses and creates no byproducts normally generated in older systems. These features assure a consistent product in both composition and characteristics.
For our soap base customers, we package our soap noodles in 1800 pound super sacks as well as clear 50 pound bags.

Pearl T
85/15 blend of 80% tallow and 20% coconut oil. It contains approximately 6% naturally derived glycerin.
Pearl TC
85/15 blend of 80% tallow and 20% coconut oil. It contains approximately 6% naturally derived glycerin. This uses the natural chelating/preservative agent citric acid.
Pearl VS-MB
A sustainable vegetable soap base made with a blend of 80% palm oil and 20% coconut oil. It contains approximately 6% naturally derived glycerin.
Pearl VSO
A certified organic sustainable vegetable base. It is a blend of 80% organic palm oil and 20% organic coconut oil. It contains approximately 6% naturally derived glycerin.
Pearl VSC
A sustainable vegetable soap base made with a blend of 80% palm oil and 20% coconut oil. It contains approximately 6% naturally derived glycerin. This uses the natural chelating/preservative agent citric acid.
Pearl VSG
A sustainable vegetable soap base made with a blend of 80% palm oil and 20% coconut oil. It contains approximately 6% naturally derived glycerin. This uses the natural chelating/preservative agent sodium gluconate.
